In the islands many country people walk at night to and fro without the light of electricity. They have no torch or lantern. They walk the roads in complete darkness. Thick black darkness.

No one walks with a torch. That’s movie stuff. In places where there’s no electricity you walk in the darkness… You allow the light of the moon and the stars to enlighten your path.

God made the children to walk thru the night with nothing but the light of the moon and the stars.  Not blessed with fire or blessed with the wisdom to create fire.  Not that fire is bad. We thank God for the fire. I have used the fire the torch to walk in the night with confidence and faith but not because of the fire. The fire was just a luxury that afforded me warmth on cold nights and light unto my path. But I my friend have walked many paths before I acquired this torch.  Many paths that I already gnew well because I walked them many times in the darkness.  Under the light of the moon and stars… the natural light. I learned how to walk in confidence within the natural light and darkness Abound.  Plenty of darkness. Having walked so long in the faint light equipped me with courage. It made me keenly aware of my environments. It strengthened by reliance upon my senses. It forced me to rely upon self and God within. These things made walking within the torchlit light a breeze were to others find it to be a struggle.

God equipped you thru the hard things first friend. The hard things first to have you prepared for whatever may come. With God you build the internal trust of the God within first. This is metaphoric to walking in the night time. The light that makes your eyes adjust to its environment and your ears that learn to be sensitive enough to pickup distinct and subtle sounds. With God you build on you, you build and lean upon what God created within you and become confident in that. First. Not leaning on nor expecting the luxury of technology. Even though it’s great to have them to use along our journeys
