Oh how I love words. I have a thing for the vernacular y’all. And idc if your penniless and unkept, or if you are worth billions in finance or in spirit you will get my immediate and lasting attention by the cleverness in wielding your choice in words that add sharpness and clarity to your perspectives. Words are tools that paint pictures. Sometimes they are expressed in broad strokes, at other times when one wants to zoom in on a thing to paint it in the expression of its truest beauty one will use pencil thin strokes in the form of fine lines of expression to communicate what lies deep within. Communicating in fine detail thru words what the heart sings and gnows, that which can’t be expressed any other way without wanting to hide ones face or shed a tear. How do you paint disappointment? How do you express the feeling of isolation while standing within a community of people? How do you express deep thanks and gratitude without ever once saying thank, love and appreciate ?
I love any and everything where the word is the sword. From music to books, it is the blending and the choice of words that gets me each and every time. Not fancy words. Expressive and effective clarifying words. To use the right wording to effectively express oneself is a gift. And just like a great painter that paints a fine portrait of a person a place or a thing down to its most detailed aspect, to be able to express a perspective that touches you-to-your-soul, that makes you till it in the mind for days on end, that each time you hear it, it takes you back to a place and time, humbling you to the power of each attribute expressed within that past time that impressed such emotion within you provokes one to emotionally Bow at the feet of its universal message and makes one pay homage to the creator or the creators of such genius. See, to communicate in simplicity using effective words that pinpoint the perspective allows one who gnows, to gnow that the one communicating gnows also. This forms camaraderie between the wielder of the word and the reader. Provoking and enticing the reader to hear and learn more. It opens the flower…
In scripture and across this planet there is a singularity in thought and that is that God creates with the word. In the beginning was the word. Writing is the art of Spell-ing. It captures your attention. It is the portal that allows another into the mind of the other passing all the gatekeepers along its way inward.
The Gods first wrote everything into existence. Whether within the heart and mind or on an object. It was written first. Then spoken.
Oh how I love the well thought composition of meaningful words.
